So, I got a new blog. I’ve been toying with the thought for months and I FINALLY did it!! I will keep this one so people can come back and look, but now THIS is the new blog. It still needs some tweaking but I’m thrilled about it.

Baby Isaac: Utah Newborn Photography…..

Last week, I got together with two week old Isaac, his beautiful momma and his grandma for some newborn pictures. He was such a good baby, which was a surprise to momma, and I had a great time meeting all of them.

We got a couple with Isaac and his momma at the end…. Nicole, you’re beautiful and do NOT look like you just a had a baby.

Baby Maleaha- Utah Newborn Photography……….

This week, after two different newborn shoots, I learned that baby is boss!! But when the baby is as gorgeous as Maleaha, it’s pretty easy to just let her do her thing….

Her eyelashes are amazing!!

Marissa’s Baby Bump. Utah Maternity Photography…….

Earlier this week I got together with Marissa and her hubby for some Maternity pictures! We kind of got rained in, but I think they still turned out pretty great. :) This Momma and I got wayyyy back. She was my very best friend growing up, I was a bridesmaid for her wedding, and now I get to capture such an amazing part of her life. I’m so excited for her and can’t wait to meet their baby girl!!

Chelsey&Austin:21 Utah Portrait Photography…….

Chelsey and Austin are twins, and they turned 21 TODAY! I went to high school with Chels, and I was so excited when she asked me to take pictures of them for their birthday. It was a fun, cold and super fast shoot. But they turned out great!

SpeakEasy…..

This is Ford–

He’s twenty three. While he was working on becoming a firefighter, he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Sarcoma cancer. Right now he is going through treatment at the Cache Valley Treatment Center.

Ford realized that while his medical expenses were covered, many local families were not. Ford then started his Campaign for Heath in the fall of last year. All proceeds are donated to the Logan Regional Hospital to fund support groups and educational efforts for those affected by cancer.

This weekend, Arts Bridge America and Fast Forward Charter High are hosting the first annual Ford Chancellor Campaign for Health 1920′s SpeakEasy. For the event, I was asked to take pictures of Ford receiving Chemo treatment to help people realize the things that people have to go through..

While I sat in on Ford’s talk with his doctor, I was AMAZED at Ford’s attitude. The first thing he asked his doctor is if he could go rock climbing. When his doctor said something about being miserable, Ford responded by saying “You choose to be miserable!”

Baby Mason:: Utah Portrait Photography…….

About two weeks ago, I got an e-mail from a mom named Amy. She told me she has a four month old son named Mason who has a bad heart valve. They were thinking that Mason needed to go in for open-heart surgery to replace his bad heart valve. Amy wanted some pictures to capture Mason’s amazing smile and personality at this time and I’m SO glad that she chose me.

Last Tuesday, they took Mason to Primary Children’s for an echocardiogram and found out that the pressure oh his bad valve has been reduced by half!! They will continue to watch him closely, but if all goes well they won’t have to go back to PCH until April! I’m so thrilled for them and pray that Baby Mason will continue to heal and grow.

Mason has three older brothers that you can tell absolutely ADORE him. They were all fighting to hold him while we were taking pictures.

Braxten- Six Months! Utah Portrait Photography….

Words can’t explain how much I love this family. Really. This is my best friend and her family and They.Are.Awesome. I consider them my second family and I’m very glad to have them. :)

We got together during the holidays while Miss Taya was home from nannying in DC so we could take these pictures, it was SUPER cold!! But I think they turned out great, none-the-less.
